What is added revenue in Bundlex Bundles?

Added revenue is what shoppers paid because of Bundlex Bundles. Your plan follows it, so this article explains what counts, with an example, and where you see the number.

The rule

Added revenue counts two things: what shoppers paid beyond one unit at full price where your discount applied, and what they paid for items Bundlex Bundles added to the cart. Nothing else in the order counts. It is counted in US dollars, at each order's exchange rate.

An example

A product costs $10. A shopper buys your bundle of 2 for $16. One unit at full price is $10, so the added revenue is $6. If the shopper also takes a $6 add-on that Bundlex Bundles offered, the added revenue of that order is $12.

A shopper who buys one unit at full price adds nothing, even when the bundle widget was on the page.

What is not counted

  • Cancelled orders and fully refunded orders. A partial refund does not lower the number today.
  • Subscription renewals.
  • Test orders on a live store.
  • For your plan only: orders in your first 7 days after you approve Bundlex Bundles in Shopify. They still show on Home and Analytics.

Where you see it

Home shows the added revenue for the period you pick. The Analytics page shows the orders behind it and the breakdown per order: what was counted, the baseline and the added revenue. The Plan page shows the added revenue of your current month, with its dates: the number your plan follows.
