Getting started

How to install Bundlex

Bundlex installs straight from the Shopify App Store in one click, and you do not need to touch any code. This guide walks you through the install, then points you to the one setting you turn on next.

Before you start

  • You need access to a Shopify store where you can install apps (store owner or staff with app permissions).
  • Bundlex is currently free to install and use. For the latest plans and pricing, see the pricing page.
  • Bundlex works on Online Store 2.0 themes, plus custom themes that support app blocks, and it works with Shopify Plus.

Install Bundlex from the Shopify App Store

  1. Go to the Bundlex listing at apps.shopify.com/bundlex.
  2. Click the install button on the listing.
  3. If you are not already signed in, enter your store's .myshopify.com domain so Shopify knows which store to install on.
  4. Review the permissions Bundlex requests, then confirm the install in your Shopify admin.

That is it. The install finishes without a billing step today. When it completes, Bundlex opens inside your Shopify admin.

What to expect during install

Two things often trip people up on other apps, so to be clear about Bundlex:

  • No payment step today. Bundlex is currently free, so Shopify will not ask you to approve a charge during install. If paid plans are introduced later, any charge is handled through Shopify on your existing invoice.
  • No theme code. Bundlex delivers its product-page widget through app blocks and a theme app extension, so you never edit Liquid or paste snippets into your theme.

Will it work with my theme?

Bundlex runs on Online Store 2.0 themes and on custom themes that support app blocks. The storefront widget inherits your theme's fonts and colors automatically, so it looks on-brand without custom styling.

If you run a heavily customized or older theme and are unsure whether it supports app blocks, install Bundlex anyway. The install itself is harmless, and you can confirm widget support in the next step.

What to do next: turn on the app embed

Installing Bundlex adds it to your store, but the storefront widget stays hidden until you enable Bundlex in your theme. This is the single most common reason a new bundle does not appear on a product page.

Once the install finishes, head to your theme settings and switch on the Bundlex app embed (or add the Bundlex app block where you want the widget to show). After that, you can create and publish your first bundle deal.

Remember: a bundle only shows on the storefront when the app embed (or block) is on and you have a published bundle that matches the product the shopper is viewing.
