Add a sticky cart button

The sticky cart button is a round button in a bottom corner of your store. It stays in place while shoppers scroll, shows how many items are in the cart, and opens the drawer from Bundlex Cart with one tap. It helps on long product pages, where the header and its cart icon scroll out of view.

Turn it on

  1. Edit the cart and open the Cart tab.
  2. Under On the page, switch on Sticky cart button.
  3. Pick a Corner: Bottom right or Bottom left.
  4. Pick an Icon: Shopping cart, Shopping bag, Basket or Handbag.
  5. Save.

The button is off until you switch it on, so nothing changes on your store before you save.

Choose where it shows

  • Show on desktop and Show on mobile pick the devices. The preview shows the button while either is on.
  • Show when the cart is empty keeps the button on screen with no items. Off, it shows only while the cart has items.
  • Let shoppers drag it lets shoppers move the button. The spot is kept in their browser.

What shoppers see

The button carries a small count badge. It fades out while the drawer is open and comes back when the drawer closes. When the sticky add-to-cart bar from Bundlex Bundles is showing, the button moves up so it does not cover it.

It uses your drawer's accent colour until you pick its own. In the Style tab, under Colors, open the Sticky cart button row to set Button and Button text. The row shows only while the button is on. There is no size field. For anything else, use Custom CSS.

Screen readers and other languages

Screen readers announce the button as "Open cart". Change that text in Advanced > Messages > Screen reader texts, in the field Sticky cart button (screen reader). Other languages get it on the cart's Translations page, in the Sticky cart button card, while the button is on.
