Rewards & free gifts

Set up a rewards bar with multiple tiers

The rewards bar shows shoppers how close they are to earning free shipping, an order discount, or a free gift.

Build your reward ladder

  1. Edit your cart and turn on Cart > Rewards bar.
  2. Choose Progress is measured by: Cart total or Number of items. This choice applies to the whole bar.
  3. Click Add tier, choose the reward, and set its minimum cart value or number of items.
  4. Fill in that reward's details. Add more tiers with higher thresholds if needed.
  5. Choose Minimal, With icon, or Milestones under Layout, then save.

For example, offer free shipping at 50, a gift at 75, and 10% off at 100 in your store currency. Choose thresholds that make sense for your products and margins.

How progress is counted

Cart value uses eligible product line totals, not the final subtotal after cart-wide discounts. An order reward therefore does not remove its own qualification by lowering that subtotal. Cart's own reward gifts and recognised Bundles gift/extra lines do not count toward the thresholds.

Amount thresholds are entered in the store currency and converted for the shopper's currency. There is one shared reward ladder, not a separate tier set for each market.

Publish and test

Activating the cart, or saving it while active, publishes its automatic reward discount. Preview alone does not prove a checkout discount or gift will apply. Test below and above each threshold on your storefront.

Show the reward list controls the chips beneath the progress bar. It does not switch off the progress message or gift choices. Customer tags only control bar visibility; see visibility rules.

Continue with free shipping, order discounts, or free gifts.
