Customize checkout, terms, and continue shopping

Open Cart > Checkout button to configure the drawer's main action and the controls around it.

Choose the button destination and text

Set Button destination to Checkout or Cart page. Edit the Checkout button text, keeping {{total}} if you want to show the cart total in the label. You can also adjust Button height and Font size.

Keep a working way to checkout. If you turn the standard button off, enable Accelerated checkout too. The drawer can show the standard button as a fallback when wallet buttons are unavailable.

Require agreement to terms

Within the same Checkout button block, enable Require agreeing to the terms. Edit Terms checkbox text and Terms required message.

The checkbox sits above the checkout button. The drawer blocks its checkout action until the box is ticked; accelerated buttons also wait until the requirement is met. This is a drawer control, not a validation rule for every possible path to Shopify checkout.

Add a continue-shopping button

Enable Show a continue shopping button. Set its text and choose Close the cart drawer, Go to the cart page, or Go to a link. For a custom link, enter the destination; leaving it blank closes the drawer.

This secondary button sits beneath the checkout stack. It is configured here rather than as its own draggable block.

Save and test each button on the storefront. If checkout is disabled, check whether a required order note is also enabled.
