Bundlex Cart metrics explained

Bundlex Cart reports activity in its drawer and orders containing products added through its upsells or paid add-on. These figures do not represent every visitor or order in your Shopify store.

Visitors and offer activity

  • Visitors: tracked drawer sessions. A new session starts after 30 minutes of inactivity, so this is not a count of permanent customer identities.
  • Offer views: tracked sessions that saw an offer. An offer must be at least half visible for one second to count.
  • Add to cart: sessions with a confirmed upsell addition, not the number of clicks or units.
  • Cart rate: sessions with an upsell addition divided by drawer visitors.
  • Acceptance rate: in the products table, sessions with an upsell addition divided by sessions shown that offer.
  • Checkout clicks: checkout actions in the drawer. They do not confirm a completed purchase.
  • Paid toggle adds and removals: shopper actions on the paid add-on. Automatic cleanup does not count as a shopper removal.

Orders and revenue

These metrics require order access and a successful first sync. Bundlex Cart recognizes orders containing an item added through its drawer upsells or paid add-on.

  • Orders with upsells: qualifying orders, each counted once even if several drawer products were purchased.
  • Total revenue: the full total of those orders, including their regular products. It is not just upsell revenue or your entire store's revenue.
  • Added revenue: what shoppers paid for accepted upsells and paid add-ons after discounts, limited to the quantity accepted from the offer. Free gifts contribute no added revenue.
  • Upsell %: the share of qualifying orders that included a product upsell, rather than only a paid add-on.
  • Average order value: Total revenue divided by Orders with upsells.
  • Conversion rate: Orders with upsells divided by tracked drawer visitors.
  • Revenue per visitor and Added revenue per visitor: the corresponding revenue divided by tracked drawer visitors.

For example, a shopper accepts a $12 accessory and buys it with a $50 main product. With no other charges or discounts, Total revenue is $62 and Added revenue is $12. If the shopper later raises the accessory quantity in the cart, only the quantity accepted from the offer contributes to Added revenue.

Which orders are excluded?

Cancelled and fully refunded orders are excluded when their updated status is synced. Partial refunds do not adjust the figures. Test orders on live stores are excluded; test orders on development stores can count. Recurring subscription orders do not contribute Added revenue.

Order updates are limited to Shopify's 60-day order-access window by order creation date. A refund on an older order may therefore not be reflected.

Dates, currency, and totals

Order values use your shop currency and the UTC date when the order was created. A dash means a value cannot be calculated, for example because there are no visitors to divide by or the required tracking history is unavailable. It does not mean zero.

The same order can appear in several product or cart-design rows. Read the overall totals instead of adding those rows together. Bundlex Cart and Bundlex Bundles also have separate reports; their Total revenue figures can include the same order, so do not add them together as a store total.
