Show payment icons and accelerated checkout

Payment icons and accelerated checkout are separate blocks. Icons describe payment methods; wallet buttons let shoppers start a checkout.

Payment icons

  1. Edit the cart and enable Cart > Payment icons.
  2. Select the payment brands you want to display.
  3. Adjust Icon height if needed. Use Your own icons for custom images and add a description for screen readers.
  4. Save the cart.

Only show methods your store actually accepts. Choosing an icon does not enable that payment provider in Shopify.

Accelerated checkout

  1. Enable Cart > Accelerated checkout.
  2. Adjust Button height on desktop and Button height on touch devices.
  3. Use Manage wallets in your Shopify payment settings to review your payment setup.
  4. Save and test on the storefront.

The preview buttons are placeholders. The actual wallets shown depend on your store's payment settings and the shopper's device and eligibility.

Why buttons can be hidden

Wallet buttons wait while cart changes are saving. They also stay hidden until any required order note is saved and the terms checkbox is satisfied. If wallet controls cannot load, the drawer keeps a standard checkout path available.

Test the regular checkout button as well as the wallets you expect your customers to use. Start with checkout button settings if there is no clear way to continue.
