Ask Shopify Sidekick about your cart
Sidekick is Shopify's AI assistant in your Shopify admin. It can read your Bundlex Cart data and answer questions about your cart drawer. There is nothing to set up in Bundlex Cart.
What you can ask
- How is my cart doing? Sidekick reads your cart analytics: visitors, offer views, upsell additions, cart rate and revenue, compared with the period before. It uses the last 30 days unless you ask for another range of up to 90 days.
- How is my cart set up? It reads the settings of your active cart (the first one in order when several are active), or of a cart you name.
- Is the drawer live on my theme? It checks whether the Bundlex Cart app embed is on in your published theme. If the embed is off, it links you to the theme editor.
- Can Bundlex Cart do this? It answers from our list of what the app can and cannot do.
- How do I set this up? It gives you the steps for upsells, rewards, free gifts, add-ons, translations and more, with a link to the matching help article.
The first time you ask
Shopify asks you once to allow Bundlex Cart before Sidekick reads its data. This is Shopify's own step, and every store sees it once. Confirm it and Sidekick answers.
What Sidekick cannot do
Sidekick only reads. It cannot change your settings, activate a cart design or fix your theme. When something needs a change, it links you to the right page in Bundlex Cart.
Revenue counts only orders that came through Bundlex Cart, not every order in your store. Revenue also needs order access and a first order sync. Until then, Sidekick gives you the other numbers without revenue. Cart metrics explained says what each number means.
An app embed that is on does not prove the drawer shows on every page. If the drawer does not open, see the drawer does not open.
If you also use Bundlex Bundles
Both apps work with Sidekick. Name the app in your question, for example "In Bundlex Cart, how many shoppers added an upsell this week?", so Sidekick reads the right app. The bundles side is in Ask Shopify Sidekick about your bundles.
